Make your own printable film in minutes. Eco Forma™ Transfer Coat — Matte is a foam brush-on, water-borne release coat for clear transparency sheets, creating a print-ready matte receptor that pairs perfectly with Eco Forma Transfer Adhesive. It delivers clean adhesion, smooth release, and crisp edge detail—so your design becomes part of the surface, not a sticker.

Printer compatibility: works best with inkjet pigment inks; some dye-based inkjets work with care. Not for laser printers.

How to use

1. Coat the film
• Place matte side up on a lint-free surface; stir, don’t shake
• Roll/brush a thin, even layer (no puddles)
• Dry 30–60 min dust-free, or warm-dry 50–60 °C × 5–7 min; cool flat
• Ready-to-print check: lightly frosted, dry to touch, no smudge
2. Print
• Print the coated side (driver: Matte/Fine-Art, quality: High)
• Heavy ink or humidity: warm-dry as above; cool flat
3. Transfer with Adhesive
• Brush a thin, even coat of Transfer Adhesive on clay; wait 2–5 min to tack (sheen down)
• Lay print face-down; smooth fingertips only from center (no burnish)
• Dwell 20–30 min, then peel low & slow (~180°); rest 20–30 min
4. Seal & finish
• Matte Dip (quick, protective seal) → Dome Coat — Gloss or Velvet Matte

Tips

• Pigment inks (e.g., Lucia Pro, UltraChrome) give best edge/UV stability
• Dye-based inks can work with longer dry/warm-dry and prompt sealing with Matte Dip
• Strain 150–200 mesh for the cleanest coat; keep coated sheets flat and dust-free
• Not for laser printers

Care

Store sealed at 15–25 °C; avoid freezing/over-heat. Stir gently before use. Water cleanup; decorative use only.
