Eco Forma was created for makers who wanted the ceramic experience — form, surface, finish, and material presence — without the limits of kiln firing.
The clay we wanted did not exist.
Eco Forma began in a small Colorado studio with a material problem. We wanted something more than fired ceramic, polymer clay, or ordinary air dry clay could offer.
We wanted a heat free ceramic clay and surface system that could move with the work from shaping and refinement into image, color, texture, mixed media, and finish, with greater expressive freedom.
The Eco System
Artisan Clay is an air-cure ceramic clay that moves with ease and builds strength in layers. Soft and responsive, it supports throwing, carving, mixed media, and staged building—especially in smaller forms and detailed work.
