Made for the finish stage
Applied over fully dry Ceramic Coat, Gloss Top Coat adds clarity, depth, gloss, and protection while allowing the ceramic layer beneath to remain part of the piece. It helps unify changes in texture and sheen, deepen color, and bring the work into a more finished visual state.

How to use, quick flow

How to apply
- Begin with a clean, fully dry surface that has completed the Ceramic Coat stage.
- Stir gently. Do not shake.
- Apply in thin, even coats, allowing each layer to settle and dry before adding the next.
- Use a lighter application over fine detail and textured passages.
- Watch for pooling around edges, openings, and recessed areas.
The Eco Forma System
Artisan Clay creates the form. Dip supports refinement and prepares the fully dry surface. Image and color become part of the piece. Ceramic Coat builds and unifies the ceramic layer. Gloss Top Coat completes it when a more luminous, glaze-inspired finish is desired.
Best practices
Build the finish in controlled layers rather than treating it as a single heavy pour. Excess application can trap bubbles, create drips, reduce clarity, or dry unevenly. Test unfamiliar or delicate media before use and allow the completed piece to cure fully before heavy handling.

Jewelry, ornaments, tiles, small thrown forms, reliefs, image-bearing surfaces, and layered mixed media work where added clarity, depth, and visual unity are desired.
Thoughtful limits
Gloss Top Coat is a decorative final finish. It is not fired glaze and should not be represented as food-safe, dishwasher-safe, or suitable as a permanent liquid barrier without separate testing and certification.
