eco forma air-cure clay
The Eco System
One connected workflow—from shaping to surface to ceramic finish—built in layers for strength, refinement, and finish.
Eco Forma lives in its own space. Most air dry clays harden only through evaporation. Eco Forma is air-cure ceramic, strengthening through internal bonding as it cures, with long open time and an authentic ceramic experience.

Made for Versatility
Air-cure strength builds in layers, so you can shape, paint and throw freely, refine as it firms, then add color, transfers, and mixed media before finishing ceramic.
The Eco System
Open to refinement, the clay stays workable for hours. Dip strengthens and refines. Image becomes part of the surface. Ceramic builds and unifies. Finish completes the ceramic surface.
Artisan Clay
Soft in the Hand. Strong in Cure.
Eco Forma is air-cure ceramic that stays open while you work, feels soft in the hand, and dries strong.

Throw, no kiln required
Approachable for beginners, supportive in guided learning, and capable of serious studio practice. Begins soft and responsive in the hand and dries air-cure ceramic.
Throwing with Artisan Clay
Perfect for practice and exploration, Artisan Clay gives you a longer working window so you can build, collapse, and rebuild as you learn without heat.
Water
Use minimal water. Too much water can soften the walls and weaken the structure. Use only enough moisture to keep the clay moving smoothly, and rely on slip and wooden tools when needed.
Pulls
Pull in steady, light passes rather than one heavy pull. Multiple gentle pulls help maintain wall balance and support a more even form.
Drying and finish
Dry slowly at first so the form can settle evenly. Once fully dry, move through the Eco Forma process: Dip, image if desired, ceramic build, then finish.

Paint with Clay + Pigment Activator
Blend clay, pigment, and Pigment Activator to create soft washes, layered passages, and expressive marks with a ceramic feel. Color stays mineral forward, grounded, and integrated with the surface.
Made with mineral + bio-based ingredients
Artisan Clay air-cures into ceramic. Its layered build unlocks expressive freedom—opening possibilities including throwing, mixed media and more.

Form with Artisan Clay
Dip saturates, strengthens, and refines the surface for greater control in the stages that follow.
Made for refined small work and surface design —jewelry, small trays, carved detail and more.
No. Eco Forma is an air-cure ceramic system. It stays workable for hours for refinement, then strengthens as it cures, and finishes strong through Dip + Top Coats with ceramic read.

Dip
Dip firms the surface for refinement and detail, helping top coats level clean and even.
Dip is the strength + surface prep step. It unifies the surface for clean edges, media, and predictable top coats. Use 2–3 thin dips; avoid heavy or repeated dipping.
Use Dip only after the piece is fully dry. Dip both sides for the most even strength, then move on to top coats. You can also add a light Dip layer after image or mixed media to set the surface before finishing.
color
Color, Naturally
Eco Forma is mineral based and water borne. Color is designed to pair with mineral pigments, without relying on synthetic dyes or additives.
Start with our curated color collections, then customize with Pigment Activator. Add surface design on top with drawing, painting, and transfers.
Eco Forma color is designed to stay compatible through Dip + Finish and built for mineral pigments. Start with curated color collections, then use Pigment Activator to customize your palette with smoother blends and consistent results. Layer color, drawing, and painting, then finish in layers for a ceramic result.
the transfer system
Transfer Artwork + Images
Place artwork with clarity, curve it with the form, and build it into the surface—clean contact, refined detail, and image that integrates into the piece
Transfers apply on fresh clay, then Dip helps set the image so top coats stay clean and even.
Ceramic Coat
Ceramic builds, refines, and unifies the surface for a more finished ceramic look.
Ceramic Coat strengthens the piece and refines the surface for the next finish layer.
