Eco Forma Air Cure Ceramic System
Ready for what’s next?
Meet Eco Forma, an eco forward, mineral and bio based air-cure clay and surface system designed for more time, more control, and more ways to make.
Ceramic character. A more open way to make. More possibility.
Ceramic is read as lasting, crafted, and valuable. Traditional fired ceramic can deliver that character, but it also asks for kilns, equipment, energy, and time. Eco Forma offers another path: a kiln free, resin free air-cure ceramic system built around mineral and bio based materials.
More than 98% of the wet Artisan Clay formula by weight comes from mineral derived materials, bio derived or natural origin materials, and water. A small remaining percentage supports preservation, stability, consistency, and performance.
Because every stage connects to the next, you can shape, refine, add color and image, build a ceramic surface, and finish without surrendering control or expression.
Designed around the friction makers already know.
Across polymer and air dry clay communities, makers repeatedly describe cracking, crumbling, limited working time, heavy sanding, and finishes that feel unresolved. Eco Forma was designed around those realities. These themes come from broader material research, not Eco Forma reviews or endorsements.
Form → Dip → Image → Ceramic → Finish
A new material deserves a connected process. Each stage prepares the next and gives you more room to shape, refine, add color and image, build the ceramic surface, and finish in your own way.
1 / Form
Shape and refine
Begin soft, stay with the form longer, and make changes while the material is still responsive.

2 / Dip
Strengthen and prepare
Move forward when the whole piece is ready, then build strength and surface with thin, even applications.

Build with the full system.
The Starter Kit brings the core air-cure clay and surface materials together so you can follow the process from form to finish.
Build and complete the ceramic surface
Ceramic Coat builds, refines, and unifies the ceramic surface. Your chosen finish completes it with controlled, fully dried layers.
Make it ceramic
Use Ceramic Coat to build, refine, and unify the ceramic surface with thin, fully dried applications.
A resin alternative
Use Gloss Top Coat when you want final clarity, depth, and shine. Matte can also be complete.
eco forma air cure clay
Form with Artisan Clay
Eco Forma starts soft, stays open, and finishes strong for detailed, layered work.
Eco Forma is air cure, not air dry. It stays workable longer and remains buildable through every finish stage.

Dip
Dip firms the surface for refinement and detail, helping top coats level clean and even.
Dip is the strength and surface preparation stage. Use it after the piece is fully dry to strengthen, refine, and prepare the surface for image, Ceramic Coat, or finish.
color
Color, Naturally
Eco Forma is mineral based and water borne. Color is designed to pair with mineral pigments, without relying on synthetic dyes or additives.
Start with curated mineral color clays. Custom color tools are coming soon. Add surface design on top with drawing, painting, and transfers.
the transfer system
Transfer Artwork + Images
Eco Forma supports drawing, painting, transfer, and mixed media. Transfers can curve with the form and integrate into the surface, so image becomes part of the piece rather than sitting on top.
Apply layers thin and allow each stage to dry. A light layer of Dip can help set image or media before Ceramic Coat or Gloss Top Coat. Image becomes part of the surface.
Ceramic Coat
Ceramic builds, refines, and unifies the surface for a more finished ceramic look.
Ceramic Coat builds, smooths, and unifies the ceramic surface after Dip, image, color, or mixed media. Use it before Gloss Top Coat for a smoother, more even finish layer, or leave it as a softer final surface when gloss is not desired.

Finish
Finish completes the final surface. Build in thin layers for clarity, strength, depth, and durability.
Dip strengthens and refines the surface. Ceramic Coat builds, smooths, and unifies the ceramic ground. Gloss Top Coat adds clarity, depth, and final shine.
