The value of ceramic. The freedom to make differently.
Traditional ceramic can be the more eco forward choice. It begins with mineral materials and creates work made to last, carrying the value customers associate with something lasting and crafted. It also requires a kiln, specialized equipment, dedicated studio space, energy, and time for drying and firing.
Makers want that ceramic character and a more sustainable material direction without surrendering control, color, surface, or expression.
Eco Forma brings those priorities together in a kiln free, resin free, air-cure ceramic system. The result is ceramic character with a more open studio process and room to make the work distinctly your own.
The Clay We Wanted Didn't Exist
Eco Forma began in a small Colorado studio with a material problem: makers needed another path alongside fired ceramic, polymer clay, and ordinary air-dry clay. We wanted a heat-free ceramic clay and surface system for shaping, refining, decorating, and finishing.
We are different by design.
Eco Forma is designed as one connected air-cure ceramic system. Clay, Dip, image and color, Ceramic Coat, and finish each do a different job, and each stage prepares the piece for what comes next.
Clay that gives you time
Artisan Clay stays soft and responsive while you shape and refine, giving you room to work before the form firms.
Each stage prepares the next
Dip refines and strengthens the form. Image and color develop the surface. Ceramic Coat builds the ceramic character that carries the work forward.
Finish is part of the design
Final layers add depth, protection, and a resolved surface. The result comes from the complete Form, Dip, Image, Ceramic, and Finish sequence.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Made for people building something of their own.
We are especially interested in polymer clay artists, jewelry and small form makers, surface and mixed media artists, wheel makers, workshop teachers, and studio voices with a point of view, that desire to create momentum for your own community.
Start where you are. Build toward what fits.
There is more than one way into the Eco Forma story. Choose the path that matches your studio now and let success grow from useful participation.
