Orange Oxide
A warm mineral orange-red with earthy depth. Grounded and studio ready.
Artisan Color Collection
Orange Oxide is part of the Artisan Color Collection, built on an Artisan White base for richer saturation, clearer color, and a refined ceramic surface. Mineral forward, naturally derived, and water based, it is designed to move through the full Eco Forma process.
The color lives through the clay body, so cut edges, carved details, texture, and relief carry the same grounded material color.
This is a refill for makers already working in the Eco Forma System. New to Eco Forma? Begin with the matching Starter Kit.
More time with the form
Eco Forma’s long open time gives you more room to shape, throw, press, carve, trim, rebuild, and refine before the material asks you to stop. It supports small to medium forms, including thrown forms, thin detailed work, carving, and relief. Strength is built in layers.
Air-cure, not ordinary air-dry
More than 98% of the wet Artisan Clay formula by weight comes from mineral derived, bio derived or natural origin materials, and water. It is a water based, air-cure material that behaves differently from conventional polymer clay and many familiar air-dry clays.
Artisan Clay begins as a soft, workable form with minimal hand conditioning. Allow it to dry completely throughout before moving into Dip.
How to use, quick flow
Form → Dip → Image → Ceramic → Finish
The Eco Forma System
Form gives the piece its shape. Dip strengthens and refines the fully dry surface. Image brings in transfer, drawing, paint, and mixed media. Ceramic Coat builds and unifies the ceramic ground. Finish defines the final surface read. Allow every stage to become ready before adding the next, and test unfamiliar media before using it on an important piece.
Best practices
No heat or kiln is required. Drying time changes with thickness, humidity, airflow, and construction. Allow the whole piece to dry evenly and completely before applying Dip; do not judge readiness from the exposed surface alone. Move and support thin work carefully while it is drying.
Sizes

Care
Keep unused clay tightly sealed and protected from prolonged air exposure, excessive heat, freezing, and direct sunlight. Remove only what you intend to use and reseal the remaining material promptly.
As a natural material, knead or condition where needed. If the clay begins to dry during use, mist lightly with water and condition before continuing.
